Issa collection AW13

Every second of Daniella Helayel collection memorising. Just loved every second of it the prints were beautiful.I went on Issa’s website to see where the inspiration was from she wrote:

“An eagle soars into a turquoise sky, high above the reservations of the Navajo. Brilliant outstretched wings display magnificent feathers. For Pre Fall 2013, prints have been inspired by this scene, with pleated crepe de chine day dresses, relaxed trousers and elegant long floor length slim skirts. Traditional Navajo weaving designs that are used for ponchos and blankets are given a contemporary twist on signature jersey styles, flowing kaftans with metallic threads injected through the print. As night falls, stars begin to sparkle in the inky black sky which has inspired embroidered kaftans with mirrored Perspex, wrapped in colourful threads and crystals, fanning out around the necklines like the war bonnets of a Navajo warrior”

Issa is all about effortless glamour and the collection definitely showed that – but with print. These are some pictures of her inspiration :

Found some few pictures from the collection figured I should show them to you :

Can’t wait for what tomorrows show brings .
